Issues that are key for me, include:

  • Homelessness. Our region will increasingly feel the impact as population grows. Ottawa can help us and I want to go there to be part of the solution.

  • Transportation. Our region a nexus for vehicular traffic flowing through Metro Vancouver. We need strong representation at the federal government level and I can do this for you.

  • The Economy. I believe the key to regional livability and prosperity is greater long-term, high paying employment opportunities at the local level. I can bring this message to Ottawa.

My community involvement is extensive:

  • Executive member, New Westminster Homelessness Coalition – 2005 to Present

  • Director, Queen’s Park Healthcare Foundation 2007 to Present

  • Appointment, Mayor’s Annual Budget Focus Group - 2009
